In this vlog an update on my BMW 320i (MY2007 / E90). It has been standing in the driveway for some time and starts to show some minor issues.
Car used: BMW 320i (E90 / MY2007)
Model (Code / Model Year): BMW 320i Limousine (2007 / E90)
In this video I show you how I imported my BMW 320i E90 from Germany to the Netherlands.
Two small stone chips on the Volvo V40 (MY2013) and a door slammed into the door of my BMW 320i (MY2007 / E90) and the timing chain on the latter are cause for concern, but constitute of this update!
My BMW 320i (MY2007 / E90) has reached 231.000 kilometers, and after owning it for 4 years it was up for the two-yearly technical check (TUV). It succesfully passed the technical check, but let's see how it went in this vlog.
I have had my BMW 320i for 4 years now, and put 105.000 kilometers on it. Naturally I keep my 2007 BMW 320i in the best possible condition, servicing and repairing it when this is required, but I have hit a rough patch when it comes to repairs (valve seals, ABS sensors).
So let's talk about my options. Continue driving the 320i (driving 50.000 kilometers each year on it)? Buy a different used BMW 318d / 320d LCI (F30 / F31)? Or get a company car?In this video I had my BMW 320i for 3 years and three months, and put 76.520 kilometers on it (hit the big 200k now). Naturally I keep my 2007 BMW 320i in the best possible condition, servicing and repairing it when this is required.
So what do you think? Should I continue driving this car, or should I replace it? Will it last, or cause me a lot of trouble? After the ban on diesels, will old petrol cars be the next ones? When I made this video I had my BMW 320i for 2 years, and put 50.000 kilometers on it (total of almost 173.000 at that time). Naturally this 2007 car has its issues that need attention, some technical, some cosmetical.
- The paintwork has stone chips and scratches - Small dents - Worn floor mats - Oil consumption - The clutch is worn - And some other thingsDriving in my BMW 320i E90, so that you can hear the exhaust sound. This is a stock exhaust with no modifications made. The engine is a 2.0 liter 4-cylinder petrol engine.
I have changed my winter tyres (styling 159, 17-inch, 225/45 R17) to summer tyres (styling 32, 17-inch, 225/45 R17) on my BMW 320i E90 (MY2007).
With my two left hands I usually don't do that much of maintenance on my cars. However, I started to try doing some simple things and like to share them with you. Don't laugh, I replaced the windscreen whipers and filled up the washing fluid.
