Guitigefilmpjes: The co-drivers view: Soesterberg

The Soesterberg area located in the center of the Netherlands, near the city of Utrecht. The area is home to several army bases (Dumoulin kazerne, Kamp Soesterberg, Soldaat Ketting Olivier kazerne) and the former Soesterberg Royal Netherlands Air Force Base, which has been closed in 2008 (the American Air Force withdrew their F15's already in 1994).

In this video we start at the "Kamp Soesterberg" army base and drive throught he main gate. After passing the gate we stop to sign of at the guard and turn left, onto the Zeisterspoor public road. Both left and right of the road there are army bases, which can be identified by several gates alongside the road.
After turning onto the motorway A28 towards Amersfoort, we hit the usual rush hour traffic on friday afternoon. But relief is on the way, as can be seen in the video there already has been added an extra lane to the motorway which is ready to be opened.
