The co-drivers view: Nijmegen & de Oversteek

Driving through the Dutch city of Nijmegen in the eastern part of the Netherlands.

In order to relieve traffic problems over the old "Waalbrug" and in the city, a new bridge was built over the river "Waal" in Nijmegen. This bridge is located at the exact location where American paratroopers crossed this river in 1944 during operation "Market Garden".
